Hello everybody! Part of your homework this week is to blog about the game you played. Please tell us which game it was, whether you liked it or not, and why!
1. My new table assignment is yellow circles. 2. Abigail, Kia, Madison and Andre sit with me at my new table 3. At the assembly the fourth graders sang songs about Arizona 4. Cap, Clap, map, nap, trap areall wrods from the "ap" family. 5. I guessed 36 candy corns, but I don't remember how many pieces were there when we counted.
Each week I will post five questions of the week to ask your child. The questions will be related to something your child is learning in school. Sometimes they will be questions designed to let your child "show off" their learning. Sometimes they will be questions designed to inspire conversations about school (so that when you ask your child what they did today, you will get a more detailed answer than "nothing!"). This week's questions:
1. Build a pattern for someone in your family. Cover up one of the pattern pieces and see if your family can figure out what piece is hiding.
2. If there is a fire in your house, what is the first thing you do? (get out!)
3. Why does the weather get colder in the fall? (hint: think about where the Earth is and where the sun is!)
4. Read your Ten Little Pumpkins book to someone in your family.
5. Have your family read these words to you. Tell your family what sound you hear at the end of each word.
